Customs duties can be reimbursed during EU exports
The Ministry of Economy proposes to reimburse customs duties during EU exports.
In order to boost exports, the Ministry of Economy of Armenia proposes to reimburse the customs duties imposed by the legislation of the importing country for goods imported. The draft was posted yesterday on the edraft legal acts unified portal.
As stated in the document’s clarification, considering the difficulties associated with exporting goods from Armenia, and as a result, the sharp increase in transportation costs and extended transportation time, the Ministry of Economy proposes a draft that would allow Armenian entrepreneurs to export locally produced goods to EU countries and then receive reimbursement for the customs duties paid there.
