Armenia ranks among countries with the world’s least tasty cuisines

The analytical platform World Population Review (WPR) has published the 2025 ranking of national cuisines by country. It was compiled based on evaluations from approximately 400,000 users on TasteAtlas. The list includes 99 countries.

According to the published data, Armenia occupies the 93rd position, having earned only 3.9 out of 5 possible points. Kazakhstan is in a similar position, ranking 92nd. Among countries in the region, Georgia has the best result, holding the 30th spot. Azerbaijan ranks 56th. Nicaragua, Laos, and Bolivia are at the bottom of the list.

Greece took the first place in the ranking with 4.6 points, Italy is in second place (4.59), followed by Mexico in third (4.52), and then Turkey and Spain with 4.50 points each. Portugal, Indonesia, France, Japan, and China are also in the top ten.

The table was compiled based on overall ratings of national cuisines without taking into account the specifics of individual dishes.

According to this data, Armenia’s cuisine has been ranked among the relatively poor ones on a global scale.
