
Low-quality food has been supplied to kindergartens in Yerevan
Low-quality chicken breast and creamy butter have been supplied to kindergartens in Yerevan.
Laboratory tests on the chicken breast supplied by “Sisiani Hats” LLC revealed the presence of Listeria monocytogenes bacteria. Approximately 3,000 kg of chicken breast and 850 kg of chicken drumsticks were found in 146 kindergartens in Yerevan.
Tests on the creamy butter supplied by “Deaga” LLC showed the presence of mesophilic aerobic and facultative anaerobic bacteria. Approximately 2,270 kg of creamy butter was found in 142 kindergartens in Yerevan.
Previously, food supplied by these companies also showed non-compliance with technical specifications.
According to the city hall, letters have been sent to the Food Safety Inspection Body.
A food supply tender has been announced.
