Violations discovered in “Carrefour” confectionery workshop

Inspectors from the Yerevan Center of the Food Safety Inspection Body conducted an inspection at the bakery, flour, and cream confectionery workshop of the “Carrefour” brand, belonging to “CRF Retail” LLC, located on Arshakunyats Avenue.

During the inspection, the inspectors took samples of “Croissant with cream,” “Donut with Nutella,” and “Nutella Cake” products and submitted them for laboratory testing.

According to the research results, it was revealed that the sample of the “Croissant with cream” product did not comply with the norms established by the technical regulations of the Customs Union regarding the indicators of Mesophilic Aerobic and Facultative Anaerobic Microorganisms (MAFAnM), Coliform bacteria, and S. aureus.

Similarly, a non-compliance was recorded in the case of the “Donut with Nutella” product regarding the indicator of Coliform bacteria.

By the decision of the Head of the Inspection Body, the specific production function of the workshop—the production of “Croissant with cream” and “Donut with Nutella” products—has been suspended.

The business operator has been instructed to take the necessary measures to bring the mentioned products into compliance with the requirements of current legislation. A deadline has been set for the elimination of the violations.
