Citizens aged 29–40 with diabetes to benefit from Insulin analogue pens

RA Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan met with citizens having diabetes and their parents, announcing that insulin-dependent citizens aged 29-40 will be able to receive ultra-short and ultra-long acting insulin analogue pens of Levemir and Novorapid types, syringes, and blood glucose monitoring devices free of charge.

Under the Ministry’s program, beneficiaries will receive 150 test strips every quarter, as well as two types of insulin analogues and syringes.

It should be noted that about two months ago, modern continuous glucose monitoring systems were also provided to children and adolescents.

During the meeting, the issue of medication provision and the accessibility of more medical services within the framework of universal health insurance were also discussed.
