Patrol service identifies drivers committing traffic violations
In recent days, the Police Patrol Service has identified several drivers who operated their vehicles in violation of road traffic rules.
Specifically, patrol officers in Vayots Dzor identified a “VAZ-2114” model vehicle that was being driven erratically on the road connecting the villages of Zaritap and Nor Aznaberd, creating a hazardous traffic situation. The vehicle was towed to a specially protected area (impound lot).
In the city of Ijevan, another driver operated a “Mercedes” model vehicle erratically; as a result, patrol officers of the Tavush Province moved the vehicle to a specially protected area.
In Yerevan, patrol officers on Rubinyants and Charents streets identified “Mercedes” and “VAZ-2107” model vehicles that were driving in the oncoming lane.
Another driver operated a “BMW” on the frozen surface of Lake Sevan, endangering his life.
Administrative violation protocols have been drawn up against the drivers.
