Damage caused to the state to be recovered
According to the Prosecutor’s Office, the lawsuits filed by the Department for the Protection of State Interests were granted by the rulings of the Anti-Corruption Court on January 16 and January 20, 2026.
It is intended that after the judicial acts enter into legal force, a total of 51,791,000 AMD, equivalent to 134,000 USD, will be recovered in favor of the Republic of Armenia.
It is recalled that the Department for the Protection of State Interests of the Prosecutor General’s Office had filed lawsuits against three individuals who caused damage to the state by failing to pay taxes.
The court granted the claims, meaning they must compensate for the financial loss caused to the state.
