Theft from Zoravor Surp Astvatsatsin Church solved
The Police report that the man who committed theft from the Zoravor Surp Astvatsatsin Church in Yerevan has been found.
As a reminder, a video was circulated online days ago, showing an unknown individual stealing a candlestick from the church altar. The spiritual pastor of the Zoravor Surp Astvatsatsin Church, Father Grigor Grigoryan, had reported the incident, also publishing the video capturing the moment of the theft.
It was revealed that the theft was committed by a 50-year-old man registered on Ulnetsi Street in the capital. He was located on the morning of February 5 and taken to the Kentron District Department of the Community Police.
The man has been arrested, and the stolen item has been recovered.
