Criminal group uncovered in Lori Province

According to the MIA, police officers in the Lori Province have uncovered a criminal group that plotted murders and committed armed robberies and residential burglaries.

The group illegally acquired weapons and ammunition and interfered in the interpersonal and financial problems of various individuals by appealing to persons with “criminal authority” status.

As a result of the measures taken, all members of the criminal group were located and detained. Illegal weapons, ammunition, and drugs were also discovered. Members of the criminal group have been charged with plotting murder, attempted murder, illegal possession of weapons and ammunition, hooliganism, theft, robbery, and other offenses.

Public criminal prosecution has been initiated against 10 individuals. A preliminary investigation is underway.
