Search conducted in the office of the director of “Izmirlian” Medical Center
A search is being conducted in the office of Armen Charchyan, the Director of Izmirlian Medical Center. This information was reported by his lawyer, Erik Aleksanyan.
According to the latter, law enforcement officers are searching the director’s office. No other details are being reported at this time.
The medical center stated that the operation is being carried out by employees of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia. The reasons for the search have not been presented to the center. According to them, the law enforcement officers have been at the medical center since 9:00 AM.
The center also informed that Charchyan’s scheduled morning surgery is being performed by another doctor.
It should be noted that the day before, the doctor had made a congratulatory post on the occasion of the Commemoration Day of St. Vardanank the Brave, also referring to the Name Day of Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians.
