Patrol officers identify traffic violators
A video recently circulated on the internet showed the driver of a “Toyota” vehicle driving on a sidewalk designated for pedestrians on Isakov Avenue in the capital during a traffic jam, thereby violating traffic rules.
According to the police, as a result of operational measures taken by the Yerevan patrol officers, the aforementioned vehicle was located and moved to a special protected area. An administrative violation protocol was drawn up against the driver.
Another incident was recorded in Zovuni, where a driver drove in the opposite lane, creating a hazard for other road users. Thanks to the measures taken, patrol officers of the Ararat Province located the “VAZ-2107” vehicle in Artashat. It was also moved to a special protected area, and an administrative protocol was drawn up against the driver.
The MIA (Ministry of Internal Affairs) Police urges drivers to strictly observe traffic regulations.
