Members of Hovik Abrahamyan’s family summoned to the Prosecutor’s Office
The daughter of the former Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan, Rebeka Abrahamyan, her husband, Vladimir Tamrazyan, as well as several other family members, have been summoned to the Department for Illicit Asset Recovery of the RA General Prosecutor’s Office.
The relevant notifications were published on the “Azdarar” unified platform for electronic notifications.
According to the notifications, based on Articles 16 and 17 of the Law “On Forfeiture of Assets of Illicit Origin,” they have the right to appear at the relevant department of the Prosecutor’s Office within one month from the moment of receiving the notification to familiarize themselves with the case materials, present a position, and submit a declaration.
Public criminal prosecution has been initiated against Hovik Abrahamyan on charges of abuse of official position and the legalization of property of alleged criminal origin, specifically land plots.
