Case of cigarette sales without excise stamps discovered
According to the Police, on February 25, officers of the Artik Community Police Department received intelligence that an employee of a gas station operating on 1st Street in Anushavan village was selling cigarettes without excise stamps.
During the explanatory work, the 41-year-old resident of Artik confirmed the information.
A criminal proceeding has been initiated, within the framework of which an inspection revealed 616 packs of various types of cigarettes in the trunk of the man’s “Mercedes” brand vehicle.
A preliminary investigation is underway.
