Lawsuit regarding the confiscation of Ernest Soghomonyan’s property Is in court
The Anti-Corruption Court has admitted into proceedings another lawsuit filed by the Prosecutor General’s Office regarding the confiscation of assets of illicit origin.
The Department for Confiscation of Assets of Illicit Origin of the Prosecutor’s Office has submitted a claim to the court to confiscate a number of assets in favor of the Republic of Armenia from Ernest Mikhayel Soghomonyan, a former member of the National Assembly of the RA, and his wife.
In particular, the claim seeks the confiscation of two real estate properties located on Northern Avenue in Yerevan, with a total cadastral value approximated to market value of around 236 million AMD.
Additionally, the Prosecutor’s Office is seeking to confiscate 8 million 50 thousand AMD as the balance of illicit income.
