Armenia Is One of the Three Largest Buyers of Indian Defense Products
Armenia has become one of the largest buyers of India’s defense industry, as reported by The Indian Times.
India exports its defense products to more than 100 countries, and Armenia is among the top three buyers. In the last four years, Armenia has signed defense contracts with India. According to Indian media, some of these deals were made during the 44-day war against Azerbaijan.
Armenia imports the Akash air defense system from India and is currently the only buyer of this system. Other significant imports include the Pinaka missile systems, Swathi weapon locating radars, and other essential systems.
