A trilateral military defense cooperation program has been signed between Armenia, Greece, and Cyprus

Armenia, Greece, and Cyprus have signed defense cooperation programs. This was reported by the Armenian Ministry of Defense.

On December 19, bilateral Armenia-Greece and trilateral Armenia-Greece-Cyprus defense consultations were held in Athens. During these consultations, the work accomplished in defense cooperation in 2024 and plans for 2025 were discussed.

The parties acknowledged that cooperation has made significant progress both in terms of scope and content, covering important areas that require longer-term, systematic efforts. They emphasized the importance of regularly holding defense consultations.

In December of the previous year, the parties signed defense cooperation programs for 2024 between Armenia-Greece, Armenia-Cyprus, and Armenia-Greece-Cyprus.

In 2023, the Armenia-Greece defense cooperation program was signed, which included 21 actions, with 15 to be carried out in Greece and 6 in Armenia.
