Delegation of the Ministry of Defense visited the NATO Allied Joint Force Command
On February 26, a delegation led by the First Deputy Minister of Defense of the RA, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Edward Asryan, visited the NATO Allied Joint Force Command located in Brunssum.
Within the framework of the visit, Lieutenant General Edward Asryan had a private talk with the Commander of the Command, General Ingo Gerhartz. Subsequently, a meeting was held with the participation of the delegations in an expanded format.
During the meeting, a number of issues related to the Armenia-NATO partnership, as well as regional security, were discussed. The parties referred to current cooperation programs and the possibilities for their development.
Lieutenant General Edward Asryan presented the main directions of the transformation of the RA Armed Forces, emphasizing the important role of the Armenia-NATO partnership in the process of defense system reforms and capacity development.
