The mandate of Member of Parliament Narek Zeynalyan has been prematurely terminated
The parliamentary mandate of MP Narek Zeynalyan has been assigned to Aleksandr Avetisyan.
The Central Electoral Commission received a report from the Speaker of the National Assembly stating that the mandate of Narek Zeynalyan, a member of the “Civil Contract” faction, has been prematurely terminated.
Previously, Narek Zeynalyan, who chaired the Standing Committee on Health and Social Affairs, announced that he was resigning voluntarily.
Aleksandr Avetisyan, who received Zeynalyan’s mandate, was an advisor to the Prime Minister. From September 2018 to January 2019, he also served as a member of the Yerevan City Council.
