
The preliminary election results for Parakar are in: the frontrunner is Lyudvig Gyulnazaryan.
The preliminary election results are known. According to the results, Lyudvig Gyulnazaryan leads with 594 votes. He previously served as the head of the Parakar community from May to November 2024 but resigned following a murder in Yerevan. Later, he stated that he had no connection to the incident and was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Following him in the vote count are Gor Saribekyan with 180 votes, Arpine Arakelyan with 89 votes, Mher Harutyunyan with 30, Karen Yeremyan with 29, and Arman Mnatsakanyan with 27 votes.
It should be noted that, based on the decision made during the Civil Contract Party Board meeting on January 3, the candidates participating in the preliminary elections for the enlarged Parakar community were Arpine Arakelyan, Lyudvig Gyulnazaryan, Karen Yeremyan, Mher Harutyunyan, Arman Mnatsakanyan, and Gor Saribekyan.
The candidate with the most votes in the preliminary elections will be appointed acting head of the enlarged Parakar community.
