
Armenia Extradites Two Individuals Involved in Criminal Activity to Turkey: Turkey Expresses Appreciation
The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed high appreciation for Armenia’s cooperation in extraditing two individuals involved in organized crime. This was reported by the Turkish MFA on its X microblog.
On January 19, 2025, Armenia extradited two individuals to Turkey. These individuals were involved in organized crime in Turkey. One of them is Erkan Yılmaz, the leader of a criminal organization, and the other is Ibrahim Kaymak, a member of the organization. A video was released showing the two criminals being transported to Turkey.

It is noted that Erkan Yılmaz is linked to the criminal organization “Barış Boyun.” He has been nationally wanted for 15 years and internationally wanted for 14 years. Ibrahim Kaymak has been nationally wanted for 6 years and internationally wanted for 1 year.
The ministry expressed gratitude to Armenia’s Deputy Minister of Justice, Tigran Dadunts, for his cooperation with the Ordu Provincial Police Department.
