Reciprocal Visit to Azerbaijan: Armenian Experts Are in Baku

A group consisting of Armenian experts has arrived in Baku to participate in a round table discussion scheduled for November 21–22. The visit is viewed as a reciprocal step following the Azerbaijani delegation’s visit to Yerevan last month.

It should be noted that a few days ago, the Government of the Republic of Armenia (RA) approved a draft resolution allocating 17.5 million drams to organize charter flights between Yerevan-Baku and Baku-Yerevan. The decision was made to ensure the participation of five Armenian experts in the discussion being held in Baku.

Essentially, this discussion taking place in Baku follows the Armenian-Azerbaijani dialogue format established in Washington on August 8, the goal of which is to advance processes directed toward establishing peace. According to the government’s justification, the involvement of Armenian experts in the meeting should stimulate the activation of contacts between the two sides.
