Official meetings held in Athens

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), on December 10 in Athens, Davit Karapetyan, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia (RA MFA), met with Georgios Mitrakos, Director of the International Centre for Black Sea Studies (ICBSS).

Karapetyan presented the agreements reached between Armenia and Azerbaijan in Washington on August 8. The “Crossroads of Peace” and “TRIP Route” programs were also discussed. The parties emphasized the importance of implementing the programs in the context of expanding regional interconnectedness and economic opportunities.

Davit Karapetyan and Georgios Mitrakos also addressed the prospects for developing cooperation with the International Centre for Black Sea Studies within the framework of the “Yerevan Dialogue” conference.

Meetings were also held with Loukas Tsoukalis, President of the Board of the “Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy” (ELIAMEP). Cooperation between Armenia and Greece within the framework of the RA-EU partnership was discussed.
