Deputy Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan meet
Today in Geneva, on the sidelines of the 61st session of the UN Human Rights Council, a meeting took place between the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Robert Abisoghomonyan, and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Elnur Mammadov. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The meeting was held as a continuation of previous high-level political contacts. The sides reaffirmed the importance of maintaining dialogue and touched upon issues of mutual interest.
It should be noted that Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan is also in Geneva, where he held a meeting with the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Türk, within the framework of the UN Human Rights Council session. He also participated in the high-level segment of the Conference on Disarmament, delivering a speech.
