Deputy Prime Ministers Mher Grigoryan and Shahin Mustafayev met at the Armenia-Azerbaijan border

On November 1, 2024, the tenth meeting of the commissions of Armenia and Azerbaijan on border delimitation and border security was held at the Armenia-Azerbaijan border. This was announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The meeting was chaired by the Deputy Prime Ministers of the two countries, Mher Grigoryan and Shahin Mustafayev.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged notifications regarding the completion of internal procedures necessary for the entry into force of the Regulation by their respective states. The Regulation entered into force on November 1, 2024.

The parties exchanged views on the sequence of boundary sections for further implementation of delimitation work. Draft guidelines on the procedure for carrying out the delimitation work were discussed. The parties agreed to coordinate the date and location of the next meeting in a working order.

After the conclusion of the commission meeting, the Deputy Prime Ministers of the Republic of Armenia, Mher Grigoryan, and the Republic of Azerbaijan, Shahin Mustafayev, held a separate discussion on issues related to transport communications.
