Certain Roads Closed Across Armenia: Bavra Checkpoint Closed for Trucks with Trailers
The Rescue Service reports that several roads in Armenia are currently closed.
In Aragatsotn Province, the road leading from the Amberd Meteorological Station to Kari Lake is closed.
The Spitak Pass is inaccessible for trucks with trailers.
The Vardenyats Pass is passable for trucks with trailers only is snow chains are used.
Ice patches are present on the roads in the high-altitude areas of Syunik Province, as well as in Shirak, Gegharkunik, Talin, Aragats, Aparan, and Garni regions, and on the Tigranashen-Yeraskh stretch.
The Stepantsminda-Lars road is closed for trucks. The Bavra checkpoint (on the Georgian side) is closed for trucks with trailers.
Drivers are advised to travel only with winter tires.
