
11 bus drivers who were dismissed due to a strike have returned to work
11 bus drivers who had gone on strike and were subsequently dismissed have returned to work.
It should be noted that on December 3, bus drivers in Yerevan went on strike. They were demanding higher wages and a review of working conditions.
On that day, 32 drivers who participated in the strike were dismissed from their jobs.
According to “Yerevan Bus” CJSC, as of December 13, the company employs 1,192 drivers. 85 driver positions currently are vacant.
In Yerevan, bus drivers receive the following salaries:
- MAN: 401,500 AMD
- Zhong Tong: 309,500 AMD
- Gazel City: 219,500 AMD
