One-Time Financial Assistance to Be Provided to Families Forcibly Displaced from Artsakh
The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs has announced that one-time targeted financial assistance will be provided to socially vulnerable families displaced from Artsakh. The aid will be transferred to beneficiaries through an electronic payment system using e-cards. The first group of these cards will be operational from December 2024 to February 28, 2025, via the “Idram” payment system.
During 2024-2025, assistance will be extended to 4,000 families, particularly those with children, pregnant women, families with newborns, children with disabilities, single-parent families, children excluded from compulsory education due to socio-economic challenges, and families in urgent need but not covered by state social programs. Beneficiary families were selected by the regional centers of the Unified Social Service through a comprehensive needs assessment tool using automated and objective scoring criteria.
Each family will receive three of the following seven e-cards: New Year’s Card (50,000 AMD), Child Care Card (40,000 AMD), Clothing and Footwear Card (25,000 AMD), Healthcare Card (25,000 AMD), Back-to-School Card (60,000 AMD), Comfortable Living Card (60,000 AMD), Emergency Food Card (11,000–44,000 AMD).
