502 Families Forcibly Displaced from Artsakh Receive Housing Certificates

The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure has presented a draft for amendments to the state support program aimed at providing housing for families forcibly displaced from Artsakh. As part of the support measures, 502 certificates have already been issued: 434 under the first component, 24 under the second, and 44 under the third. Additionally, about 20 certificates are in the mortgage lending stage, with 5 already successfully completed.

– The first component provides certificates for purchasing an apartment or a unit in a building under construction.

– The second component offers certificates for constructing individual houses.

– The third component supports the repayment of existing mortgage loans.

Significant changes have been made within the program. One of the most notable is the expansion of the list of eligible settlements with a 4-million-dram limit. Previously covering 148 settlements, the list now includes 443 settlements across 39 communities.

The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs also reported that approximately 89.37 billion AMD has been allocated for various forms of social assistance to forcibly displaced individuals.
