Traffic restrictions in Yerevan during U.S. Vice President’s Visit

U.S. Vice President JD Vance, accompanied by his spouse Usha Vance, will arrive in Armenia on an official visit on February 9-10, according to the Government of the Republic of Armenia.

Simultaneously, state protocol events are scheduled in the capital during the visit. To ensure the safety of the participants, traffic restrictions will be implemented on several streets in Yerevan.

According to the Police, on February 9, from 17:00 to 21:00, traffic will be restricted on Baghramyan Avenue, from the intersection of Baghramyan Avenue and Proshyan Street to the intersection of Baghramyan Avenue and Moskovyan Street.

Additionally, on February 9 and 10, at various times, traffic restrictions will also be in effect on Abovyan Street from the Abovyan-Tumanyan intersection to Republic Square, as well as on Pushkin Street from the Pushkin-Koghbatsi intersection to Sakharov Square.
