Minister of ESCS visits Armenian Genocide Memorial
Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport Zhanna Andreasyan paid another visit to the Armenian Genocide Memorial to oversee the progress of renovation and landscaping works.
The Minister was accompanied by the Secretary General of the Ministry, Hasmik Hakobyan.
Representatives of the contracting company presented the progress of the ongoing activities to the Minister; issues regarding quality assurance and adherence to established deadlines were discussed.
It should be noted that the renovation of the memorial complex is at the center of public debate. The outcry is due to the construction activities, as many believe that Tsitsernakaberd is being “demolished” rather than renovated.
