15,000 trees will be planted in one of Yerevan’s nurseries
Around 20 hectares of land from the Yerevan Municipality’s “Greening and Environmental Protection” SNCO area have been cleared of stones and thorn bushes, preparing it for tree planting.
Currently, approximately 15,000 trees, including poplars, oaks, albizias, and other species, are being planted in the new nursery. These trees are intended to enhance the capital’s green fund and reduce the import of trees from other countries. Additionally, 5,000 larger trees will be imported from abroad and placed in the nursery.
The nursery will be irrigated through a drip irrigation system.
