1.34 billion AMD will be allocated to the “Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex” company for the modernization of fire safety and electrical systems. The new funding will enable the upgrading of these systems, contributing to the multifunctional use of the facility and enhancing its profitability.
To maintain and enhance its competitiveness in the region, it is essential for the facility to meet international standards, ensuring the safety and comfort of visitors and events, – this was mentioned in a statement released by the State Property Management Committee.
The complex underwent its last large-scale renovation nearly 40 years ago. The program aims to maintain its competitiveness in the region and align it with international standards.
