Henrikh Mkhitaryan has started writing an autobiography
Former captain of the Armenian national team and current midfielder for Inter Milan, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, has confessed that he has started writing an autobiography. Mkhitaryan gave an interview to the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera, discussing topics such as education, language proficiency, as well as the loss of his father and the importance of family.
The Armenian footballer mentioned that he still has much to share about his career and would like many people to learn about it. Mkhitaryan also spoke about his self-critical nature. During his years playing in Ukraine, the midfielder would turn off his phone after matches to solely analyze his performance and criticize himself.
Henrikh shared about growing up without his father.
Growing up without my father was very difficult, and it still is. I miss him, and I wish he were here so I could ask him many things that could have helped me in life. Fortunately, my mother also played the role of a father, and I am very grateful to her for my upbringing.
When asked if he would pursue a coaching career after retiring, Mkhitaryan mentioned that he would address it in his book.
