Fastex APL: Protest action continued during the central match of the round, demanding the resignation of the FFA president
In the central match of the 14th round of the Fastex Armenian Premier League, Yerevan’s “Noah” faced Yerevan’s “Urartu” at the Vahagn Tumasian Stadium in Abovyan.
The team led by Rui Mota claimed a 2:1 home victory over the league leaders. The scoring opened in the 23rd minute with a goal by Oulad Omar. Ivan Ignatiev equalized in the 9th minute of added time in the first half.
In the second half, the home team secured the victory. Gonzalo Gregorio scored the winning goal in the 74th minute.
The match was halted in the 12th minute as fans continued their protest against the FFA president by entering the field. The fans continue to demand the resignation of Armen Melikbekyan.
