Petros Petrosyan became the champion of the European U23 Weightlifting Championships
In the ongoing European U20 and U23 Championships in Raszyn, Poland, the Armenian team has won another gold medal. In total, Armenia has claimed 13 gold, 3 silver, and 3 bronze medals.
In the super heavyweight category, Petros Petrosyan lifted 166 kg in the snatch event, earning him a silver medal. In the clean and jerk, Petrosyan achieved a result of 218 kg, winning a small gold medal.
In the total competition, the Armenian weightlifter reached 384 kg, standing on the top step of the podium and becoming the champion.
