Wrestling World Championship: On the second day of competition, Armenia won 5 medals

The Wrestling World Championship continues at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex, where Armenian wrestlers won 5 medals on the second day of competition: one silver and four bronze.

In the 55 kg weight category, Tigran Minasyan secured a silver medal, losing in the final to a Korean wrestler.

4 wrestlers claimed bronze medals: In the 72 kg category, Shant Khachatryan defeated Switzerland’s Maurus Zogg with a score of 10:1. In the 74 kg category, Hrayr Alikhanyan triumphed over the representative of Saudi Arabia with a 12:2 score. In the 79 kg category, Arman Avagyan beat his Italian opponent 7:4. In the 82 kg category, Samvel Grigoryan overcame his Kazakh opponent with a score of 9:1.
