Starlink Granted Permission to Operate in Armenia
Starlink has been granted the right to operate in Armenia. This was announced by Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan on his Facebook page.
He stated that the company’s applications have been approved and expressed hope that the testing phase will conclude in the coming months, allowing the service to be fully operational in Armenia.
In October, during the closing ceremony of the World Congress on Information Technology (WCIT) 2024 in Yerevan, SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk shared in a video message his intention to launch Starlink in Armenia.

Starlink is a satellite internet service. That provides high-speed internet access to users worldwide. Musk had confirmed that the service would soon arrive in Armenia. It is expected to significantly improve internet connectivity, especially in remote areas.
