The State Revenue Committee has a new president
Eduard Hakobyan will be appointed as the Chairman of the State Revenue Committee. This was announced by Nikol Pashinyan on his Facebook page. He had previously held the position of Deputy Minister of Finance.
Hakobyan has worked at the Ministry of Finance since 2013. From 2018 to 2022, he served as the head of the ministry’s department, and since 2022, he has been the Deputy Minister of Finance.
The position of Chairman of the State Revenue Committee had been vacant since November 18, following Rustam Badalyan’s resignation. This came after Nikol Pashinyan expressed dissatisfaction with the law enforcement system. Subsequently, six heads of various agencies announced their resignations.
