It is known when the lights of the capital’s Christmas tree will be turned on

In Yerevan, the lights on the Christmas tree will be turned on on December 8, Sunday. This was announced by Yerevan’s Deputy Mayor Suren Grigoryan during a press conference. The festive atmosphere in the city will be maintained until January 10.

It was planned to renew the tree’s branches and decorations, but the tender did not take place. It is likely that next year, funds will be allocated to replace the tree and decorations. However, new ornaments will be purchased to refresh the appearance of the tree.

For Yerevan’s holiday events and decorations, an initial budget of approximately 550 million drams has been allocated.

In 2025, attention will also be given to the design of the administrative districts.
