Ararat Mirzoyan has met with the Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation of the Netherlands

On December 2, Ararat Mirzoyan, who traveled to the Netherlands on a working visit, met with the Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation, Rina Klevier, in The Hague. Among the topics of mutual interest were the management of water resources, healthcare, and the promotion of economic cooperation through investment incentives.

The parties also discussed the prospects for further deepening the Armenia-European Union partnership. They talked about the “Crossroads of Peace” program and the steps taken by the Armenian government to address the needs of Armenians displaced from Artsakh.

According to data released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, trade turnover between the two countries has increased. Armenia imports mainly vehicles and transportation equipment, chemicals, medicines, as well as electronic devices, and so on from the Netherlands. Armenia exports metals, precious stones, jewelry, and alcoholic beverages. The graph shows that exports have grown by about 50% since 2019, while imports have increased by about 30%.
