Compensation for Deposits to Continue in 2025
In 2025, the program for compensating deposits made in the USSR Savings Bank (the Armenian SSR Republican Bank) before June 10, 1993, will continue. According to the government’s decision, compensation will be provided to citizens born on or before December 31, 1942, including those whose deposit was made by a deceased spouse during their married life.
The right to compensation extends to:
— Participants of military combat operations, including cases where the deposit was made by a deceased spouse during their married life and for residents of border communities.
— Individuals registered in the State Population Register as of August 1, 2014, as well as those drafted from these communities who were serving mandatory military service on August 1, 2014.
— Individuals who inherited deposits made in the names of soldiers or volunteers who were killed (deceased) or went missing during combat operations, combat duty, or special assignments.
The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs reminds depositors that they can personally apply to the territorial center of the Unified Social Service at their registered place of residence for registration purposes.
