Armenia and India discussed the framework for expanding expert cooperation

The Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of the Republic of Armenia (RA), Davit Karapetyan, received Ram Madhav, President of the “India Foundation” in Yerevan. 

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state of Armenian-Indian relations and the prospects for their further deepening and development. In particular, the necessity of more active interaction among experts, scientists, and expert communities was highlighted. This cooperation is planned to be implemented through joint programs and projects in areas of mutual interest. Ram Madhav, President of the “India Foundation,” provided a detailed presentation of the foundation’s areas of activity and programs, which are particularly focused on effectively countering global challenges. The parties also addressed current regional events. Davit Karapetyan, Secretary-General of the RA MFA, presented the peace agenda being advanced by the Republic of Armenia and the “Crossroads of Peace” initiative. The mentioned initiative aims to expand the level of cooperation and interconnectedness in the region, and the importance of establishing peace was also emphasized.
