Argentine Legislative Delegation Meets with Alen Simonyan
On November 3, National Assembly (NA) President Alen Simonyan received a delegation from the legislative body of Argentina. They discussed programs aimed at developing bilateral relations.
During the meeting, they talked about issues related to the activation of inter-parliamentary cooperation, the peace process established in Washington, and regional developments. Views were exchanged on the problems of prisoners of war and those considered missing in Azerbaijan, and possible joint programs were also discussed.
After the meeting, members of the delegation from Argentina visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex, laid flowers at the eternal flame, and observed a minute of silence in memory of the innocent victims. They also toured the museum, familiarizing themselves with the permanent and temporary exhibitions.
The head of the delegation made an entry in the Commemorative Book of Honorable Guests, highly appreciating the importance of Armenia’s heritage and historical memory.
