“Life and Struggle” Film Removed from Official Platforms
The film “Life and Struggle” (Kyanq u Kriv), shot after the 2016 Four-Day War, is no longer available on official platforms. The topic has sparked widespread discussion on social networks. User Davit Ghazaryan was the first to mention it on his Facebook page.
“Life and Struggle” is based on true stories and depicts the fates of people during the war days. The film is dedicated to the heroes of Artsakh and the 25th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Armenia (RA).
According to Ghazaryan, he tried to rewatch the film, but it was missing from both the “First Channel” and “Kinodaran” platforms.
“The best film that portrays the lives and experiences of people during the Artsakh War, emphasizes the value of Artsakh, and encourages dedication. A few days ago, I wanted to rewatch it and noticed it was gone. “First Channel,” “Kinodaran,” is there a clear explanation as to why the film has disappeared?” he wrote.
Amnews attempted to verify this information. Upon searching for the film on both mentioned websites, we encountered the same issue: “The film is not available on the website.”
Official sources have not yet clarified the reasons for the film’s disappearance. Users on social media are discussing possible reasons, suggesting it could be related to political issues, legal problems, the expiration of distribution contracts, or technical difficulties.
However, it should be noted that the events in the film unfold during the years 1990-1992. The film portrays how the destinies of four friends and their two sisters played out during those years. Documentary footage of the liberation of Shushi was used in the film.
