Why Did the Bank Duplicate Purchases That Had Already Been Made?
Since this morning, a number of users have raised alarms on social media, reporting that duplicate amounts were charged from their InecoBank accounts. According to users, the issue emerged during the night of November 11: duplicate records of previous days’ purchases were observed in their banking transaction histories.
In response to the citizens’ complaints, the bank published an official clarification, detailing that a limited number of transactions were recorded twice due to technical reasons during system improvement work.
According to the statement, the issue has been identified and is in the process of being rectified. Customers have not incurred any financial losses, and the funds have merely been temporarily frozen. The bank assures that the amounts will be automatically returned to the accounts within the next 24 hours, and no additional actions are required from the users.
