Construction work continues in Khachik

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan published a video on Facebook and wrote alongside it: “We were discussing the options for the major repair of the road leading to the Khachik settlement.”

The construction of 40 houses under the 16 million AMD program for border settlements is underway in Khachik. Pashinyan visited the construction sites, spoke with residents, and inquired about the progress of the work. Specialists noted that the construction work is being carried out according to the schedule.

The road leading from Noravank to Khachik is currently a dirt road, and the possibility of paving it with asphalt was discussed in order to facilitate movement and promote tourism.

The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure will undertake the road repair works, as a result of which the residents and visitors of the province will be able to move faster.

This Sunday, Pashinyan participated in a liturgy held in the Surb Astvatsatsin (Holy Mother of God) Church located in Khachik village.
