Ruben Rubinyan Met with US Under Secretary of State Alison Hooker
The Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia and Armenia’s Special Representative for the Armenia-Turkey normalization process, Ruben Rubinyan, met with US Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Alison Hooker in Yerevan. During the meeting, issues related to the Armenia-US strategic partnership were discussed, as well as recent regional developments and the process of normalizing relations between Yerevan and Ankara.
According to the US Embassy in Armenia, Hooker arrived in Yerevan to advance the US President’s vision for regional peace and security. Ambassador Kristina Kvien welcomed her at the airport.
The Embassy also noted that during the visit, Hooker will meet with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan, Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan, and Special Envoy Ruben Rubinyan to discuss further steps to strengthen the Armenian-American strategic partnership within the framework of the “Trump’s Road to International Peace and Prosperity” (TRIPP) initiative and the Armenian-American memoranda.
