Shirak Airport will serve up to 1.2 million passengers annually
Reconstruction works have been carried out at Gyumri’s Shirak Airport. The airport’s old terminal building was renovated.
The total investment in these works amounts to approximately $14 million.
The arrival and departure halls, now operational, will be able to serve up to 1.2 million passengers annually.
The departure hall spans 1,000 square meters, featuring 2 boarding gates and the capacity to handle 2 flights simultaneously. 6 cameras have been installed for border control services, and 450 square meters have been allocated for duty-free shops and cafes.
Simultaneously, renovation is underway on the 700 square meters of the old terminal building at Shirak Airport. There will be provided spaces for organizations delivering public services.
The investments have been made by Armenia International Airports CJSC.
