US Peace Proposal Could Become the Basis for a Final Resolution to the Russia-Ukraine War
The new peace plan proposed by the United States regarding the Ukrainian conflict has become the main topic on the international agenda.
Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that they have received the peace proposal prepared by the US for the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict, but it has not been discussed yet. According to Putin, the reason is that Ukraine has not given its consent to this option.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that he had a long conversation with US Vice President J.D. Vance and Army Secretary Dan Driskoll, discussing the details of the American proposal. The parties agreed to continue cooperation and work in a continuous communication mode. Zelenskyy said that the people of Ukraine are with him and they will not betray the country, but Zelenskyy’s wife, Olena Zelenska, believes that her husband should not continue his political career.
Donald Trump stated that if the peace proposal is not accepted, Ukraine could lose the remaining territories of Donbas. The US warned that if Ukraine does not agree to the presented proposal, the transfer of intelligence data could be stopped.
The US is already taking action. It has appointed Dan Driskoll as a Special Representative to advance the “Peace Plan.” Driskoll is a friend and former classmate of Vice President Vance.
