Arayik Harutyunyan to Be Dispatched to Moscow to Attend Nikita Simonyan’s Funeral

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has signed a decision according to which Arayik Harutyunyan, the Head of the Prime Minister’s Staff, will be dispatched to Moscow on November 26–27 to attend the funeral of Nikita Simonyan.

In accordance with the decision, all expenses related to Arayik Harutyunyan’s business trip will be reimbursed in the prescribed manner, including representation costs and daily allowance. Upon his return, he must submit the relevant reports to the Government and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) within three working days.

Today, Simonyan’s memorial service was held in Moscow.

Nikita Simonyan was one of the most famous names in Soviet football, a Spartak legend, and a long-time Vice President. Simonyan had Armenian roots, and Armenia will express its respect and participation at the state level in connection with his death.
